Hello all fellow Paxtoners!
I am the new Head of House for Paxton and thought it was time to introduce myself.
From your past wins I know Paxton are a bit of a sporty house and always do well at Sports Day but we cannot just rely on that this term to pull us up in the league. Currently we are in a danger zone in 5th place, but there is less than 2000 points between us and 1st place so this is the time to make a difference. This is only about the equivalent of getting an extra 2 golds per Paxton student in years 7-10 so we can do this!!
There are lots of house events coming up this term so please make sure you are a part of them. Wouldn't it be great to win the House championship again this year and enjoy the rewards in July?
Whether you are sporty, musical, a great baker, a superb designer, fluent in a language or great at just about anything, there are lots of events you can get involved with. Have a look at the list below and see what you can do. Can you make a pledge to participate in 2 events each this term? Just participating gets us points, but I know you are an amazing bunch and when you get involved you do brilliantly!
I hope to pop into your tutor groups over the coming weeks as well to say hello.
